Monday Morning Meditation Class 11am-12.15pm

Finding Life’s Balance

Do you find you’re often worrying about the past or effectively postponing your happiness until some event in the future?

Our life is taking place right now, this very moment. It is not taking place in our past and it is not taking place in our perceived future. And yet, the past and the future is where we spend so much of our mental time. This is not a strategy for happiness, only for distraction, discontent and uncertainty..

The time to experience and create the life you truly wish yours to be is right now, in this very moment.

In this course, through bringing together aspects of Buddha’s teachings on karma, impermanence, and the transformative power of our own mind, Gen Tubchen will guide us into a deep appreciation of how every moment of our life is a true marvel, providing us with the joyful opportunity to create the causes for the fulfillment of both our temporary and our deepest wishes.

Everybody is welcome to attend regardless of experience. The course will consist of practical teachings and short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve our ability to deal with stress.

On this course you will learn how to:

  • How to transform each moment
  • How to cultivate calm here and now
  • How to change your life through meditation

Everyone welcome.

"Wonderful week of simply meditate classes. Learning how to hold the object was so effective and I really felt my meditation becoming so much more meaningful. I think this is what I have needed, that bit more structure to it.  I'm looking forward to practising this technique more with the courses at the weekend and Retreat next week.😀"
