Finding Life’s Balance – 19 Oct – Free!

Bressay Public Hall – 11am – 2pm

Life is unpredictable and there are lots of people, things and situations we can’t control.  It’s easy to find ourself chasing happiness or feeling disappointed, overwhelmed or depressed when things don’t work out as we imagine.

Through meditation we can cultivate an inner balance and mental equilibrium that helps us stay steady no matter what is happening around us.  Meditation can also bring a feeling of freedom and joy that can help us to be much more consistently happy in our daily life.

As we get more balanced within ourself this will help us to keep things in perspective, to see others in more positive ways and to make good decisions that prioritise our peace of mind.

On this course you will learn how to still your mind through meditation on the breath and how to find balance by meditating on equanimity.

Join us for this free course with simple teachings and guided meditations and discover how through Buddha’s wisdom you can easily bring your life into balance through the power of meditation.

Recommended resource: Meditations for Relaxation.

The course will include guided meditations, practical advice and time to answer any questions you may have about meditation. No previous experience is necessary.

This course is free to attend and is fully funded by the national mental health and wellbeing fund giving people the opportunity to take care of their own mental health at a grass roots level.

Whether you are completely new to meditation, or have been practicing for many years, everyone can benefit from this course on the power and practical application of meditation.

Everyone is welcome!
