Teacher Training Program – Mondays 5.30pm – 9.00pm

On our Teacher Training Programme we are studying The New Guide to Dakini Land which is a unique guide to the Tantric practice of the Enlightened Buddha Vajrayogini.   The practice of Vajrayogini comes from Buddha himself and has been preserved over the centuries by an unbroken lineage of realised practitioners and given to us by the contemporary Buddhist Master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, who presents this profound practice in a way that can be easily understood and practised in the modern world.

This is a rare and unique opportunity to discover how to joyfully practise the two stages of Tantra , generation stage and completion stage, so that you can purify your ordinary body, speech and mind.  Under the guidance of Gen Tubchen, who has over 20 years of experience with Tantra, including several long close retreats, you can learn to incorporate these practices into your daily life so that you can transform every moment into the quick path to enlightenment.

This program is designed for practitioners wishing to benefit others through becoming qualified teachers of Kadampa Buddhism or wishing to deepen their sincere study and practice of Buddhism.  It includes guided meditation, teachings and structured study and discussion, as well as regular teaching skills classes.

Joining TTP involves enrolling for the book, trying to attend all the classes, and taking an exam at the end of the book.  As this is a Tantric text you are need to have the sincere intention to receive the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment of Vajrayogini at the next opportunity in order to participate on the programme.

By committing to a regular study program and studying in a group with like-minded people you benefit from the support of a spiritual community to energise and sustain you in your spiritual life.

Each class consists of  preliminary prayers, a guided meditation, the oral transmission of the book with commentary and discussion. The classes are systematic and interactive and TTP students will find that their knowledge, wisdom and ability to benefit others grows week by week as a result.

The teacher training program is an advanced program based on a systematic study of twelve Kadampa Buddhist texts.

It is possible to join this program in person or online via zoom.

"Just finished the last session of the retreat. It was wonderful & I managed to make it work around my busy, noisy house & family.  I felt very held through the meditations, even though it wasn't live, just incredible really. Thankyou 🙏🧡"
