How can it help anyone, Buddhist or not, to live a more peaceful, meaningful life?

In this ½ day course with Buddhist nun, Kelsang Yonchen, you can learn about the essential principles of the Buddhist Way of Life, and how Meditation and self-reflection act as a tool for developing qualities such as inner peace, love and patience

Everyone is welcome, beginners and experienced meditators alike. No special clothes are required and seating is provided in chairs.  Please bring a mat and cushion if you prefer to meditate seated on the floor.

Kelsang Yonchen is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Aberdeen. She has been practising Kadampa Buddhism for over 14 years and was ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2023. Before moving to Aberdeen, she served as the Resident Teacher at Ganden Ling Kadampa Meditation Centre in Cornwall. Yonchen is known for her warm heart, practical wisdom, and clear, accessible teaching style that makes Buddha’s teachings easy to understand and apply in daily life.
