Enjoy a stress-free evening of peace and tranquillity!

Meditation is a simple, effective method to calm the mind and let go of stress, tension and worry.   

We have a different theme each month and you can book the month as a block or attend any individual class.

Letting Go of Perfect

In our modern life, with its high speed exchange of images and information, and its emphasis on external development, we can easily feel under pressure to ‘get it right’, to be seen as successful, or to be ‘living the life’.  Deep down we know these are unrealistic expectations, and that they will never bring the real happiness and validation we seek, but nevertheless we can get caught up with them and feel dissatisfied or that we’re not good enough.

These thoughts can genuinely undermine our confidence and self esteem. What we need amidst our challenging world is the encouragement to know we can be happy and content deep within and to let go of our craving for perfection.

This course will combine meditation techniques and Buddhist teachings to help us understand how to let go of our self-critical thought patterns, nourish positive attitudes, and redirect our energies to being content, peaceful and most importantly happy with who we are.

4 Week Course:

November 2 – Is perfect possible?

November 9 – Letting go of attachment to perfection

November 16 – Perfectly content

November 23 – Secrets of self esteem

  • The class runs from 7pm – 8:15pm
  • There are 2 guided meditations and a practical teaching in each class.
  • Optional discussion at the end of the in-person class from 8:15 – 8:30.
  • You are welcome to attend in person
  • Livestream or available for 5 days to watch online.
  • £7 (free for members)
  • Book all four classes in a series for £20
  • All income goes to running the centre which is a registered charity.
  • Cancellations up to 24hours prior to the course will receive a full refund minus a 10% admin fee.

It is possible to drop in to any class if you cannot attend the whole course. It is also still possible to book all four classes to watch on catch-up.
