Tuesday Meditation Class 7 – 8.15pm
The Bliss of Concentration
Nowadays we have so many distractions that it is rare to enjoy even a few moments of peace. Through deepening our concentration we increase the power of our mind, our energy, our ability to fulfill our wishes and our inner peace. With this new found concentration we will be able to significantly improve our meditation experience and overall inner peace, happiness and well being.
Make your meditations powerful and effective through joining this 3-week concentration course that is also perfect preparation for the Bliss of Concentration weekend retreat in Portsoy which benefits from training in concentration in daily practice at home.
This course will be taught by Gen Kelsang Tubchen, the resident teacher at KMC Aberdeen. She has many years of experience in teaching concentration and guiding meditation retreats.
If you are unable to attend the course in person, it is possible to join online as a member.

Finding Your Happy Life
In this course we will explore how meditation can help us to create new mental habits that keep our mind happy & peaceful. We will also discover how meditation can help us to break the cycle of any bad mental habits we have that undermine our happiness & wellbeing.
Of course one of the best habits we can develop is a daily meditation practice that will help us each day to be happy no matter what life throws at us. During each class you will be guided in two meditations and given encouragement to develop a regular meditation practice at home.
Buddha explains simple attitudes that we can all learn to cultivate that will make us really happy. On this course we will explore through teachings and guided the happy minds of contentment, gratitude, acceptance and joy.
