Weekly Classes – Sat 12noon (listen within 96hrs)

A special opportunity to be guided through the profound and deeply healing and liberating meditations on emptiness presented by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in his books on Mahamudra.

This course is also a perfect preparation for the Abiding in the Peace of Wisdom Retreat on 17 & 18 October.

This four week series will focus on gaining a deeper understanding of  Buddha’s teachings on the profound view of emptiness, the true nature of our reality.

The extent to which we are able to solve our inner problems by meditating on the true nature of things depends upon two factors: the accuracy of our understanding and our familiarity with this knowledge.  Therefore first we need to study emptiness in order to gain an intellectual understanding, and then we need to meditate on this understanding over and over again in order to deepen our familiarity.

“Even if we cannot understand all the technical reasoning, we shall get a feeling for emptiness, and we shall be able to subdue our delusions and solve our daily problems through contemplation and meditation on emptiness.”  Mahamudra Tantra
