Meditations for Daily Life
26th August – 16th September
Wednesdays 7pm – 8pm
At Forres Town Hall
Meditation is a useful skill that can help us in many ways. If we train in authentic meditation techniques our mind will become more happy, calm and controlled, and this in turn helps us to handle the various situations we encounter day to day in more positive, beneficial ways.
In this course, each week we will look at practical meditations that help us to enjoy our life at a deeper level and to navigate the cut and thrust of daily life without getting bogged down or discouraged.
Each class is stand-alone. You can join at any time during the series and come to as many or few sessions as you wish.
We mainly sit on chairs and no exercise is involved.
Everybody Welcome!
Week 1: Space to Breathe

Santu Chatterjee teaches the meditation classes in Forres. A local resident and retired engineer, he has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for over forty years. With his gentle, warm approach, Santu shares meditation in a clear and down-to-earth way, drawing on his many years of experience. He helps us learn how to keep a happy heart, whatever life brings.
