Gen Kelsang Norden – Special Day Course
Sat 7 March | 10am – 3.30pm
The Three Principal Aspects of the Path
with Guest Teacher Gen Kelsang Norden
One of the clearest presentations of the Path to Enlightenment is a short poem called The Three Principal Aspects of the Path, composed 600 years ago by the extraordinary Spiritual Guide and founder of the New Kadampa lineage, Je Tsongkhapa.
In this beautiful poem, Je Tsongkhapa distils the vastness of the Buddhist stages of the path to enlightenment to three essential points – Renunciation (the wish for freedom from suffering), Bodhicitta (the wish to become a Buddha motivated by compassion for all living beings) and Wisdom (understanding reality’s true nature)
Gaining experience of these three will provide us with the methods we need to transform every aspect of our life into opportunities for our inner development and spiritual growth.
On this special day course, special Guest Teacher Gen Kelsang Norden will take us on a spiritual journey, step-by-step through the development of each of these three understandings, based on the commentary by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in his most recent book, The Mirror of Dharma (with Additions).
