The Art of Optimism – 15 Aug – Free!

Mareel, Lerwick – 7-9pm

A Free meditation workshop!

We may feel that we have no choice but to become overwhelmed or disheartened when we meet with difficult people or circumstances. Through regular meditation we can learn how to lift up our own mind and stay strong and positive in the face of life’s challenges. In this way we can discover our own potential stay peaceful no matter what, which brings a sense of real confidence and stability into our life.

During this uplifting course, Buddhist nun Gen Tubchen will explain how to develop a realistic sense of optimism and offer advice on how to live with hope, resilience, and vision in an uncertain world.

Please book early as places are limited and these courses regularly sell out.  Please also let us know if you book a place and are unable to attend so we can offer it to others.

Everyone is welcome!
