Happiness Hour
Saturday mornings | 11am – 12pm
Inspiring teachings and uplifting meditations to put a spring in your step and a smile in your heart!
Join us for an hour of happiness on a Saturday morning. We tend to look for happiness outside of ourself in external things, people and situations but if happiness is a state of mind then its main cause is not to be found outside the mind.
Each class will include two guided meditations together with a short teaching drawn from Eight Steps to Happiness. Week by week we can discover different ways to make ourself and others happy through training in meditation and in particular developing our love and compassion for others.
“Happiness is a part of the mind that experiences inner peace, or peace of mind.” Eight steps to happiness.
After the class you are welcome to enjoy the peaceful environment of the cafe & bookshop.
This is a perfect course for beginners and those new to the centre – or anyone wanting to start the weekend with some gentle meditation.
