Scottish Dharma Celebration

Join us for this inspirational event in the heart of Scotland with international guest teacher, Kadam Bridget Heyes, the UK National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition.

The Scottish Dharma Celebration is an annual opportunity for people throughout Scotland to gather together with spiritual friends to receive inspiration and teachings; enjoying a weekend which leaves people feeling relaxed and spiritually re-energised.

During this special weekend, Kadam Bridget will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva and give teachings on how to purify the mind by letting go of negative ways of thinking.

An empowerment is a beautiful guided meditation through which we can make a deep connection with Buddha Vajrasattva and receive the healing balm of his purifying blessings into our mind. Then through practising the teachings and meditations we learn, we can let go and purify all the negativity in our mind that gives rise to suffering and problems.

Everyone is welcome!

About the Teacher

The weekend will be led principally by international meditation teacher, Kadam Bridget Heyes, the UK National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition. Kadam Bridget is a senior student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and is known for her powerful teachings, compassionate heart, and deep understanding of Buddha’s wisdom advice. Her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that are easy to practise and integrate into daily life. As a mother of two, she has a special insight into how to bring Buddhism alive to meet the demands of a busy modern life. Kadam Bridget shows an inspiring example for everyone on the spiritual path.
