The perfect retreat to rest and recharge
Through being guided in deeply relaxing, spacious, and deceptively simple stages of meditation your mind will become progressively more subtle and peaceful. In this way you can experience a profound inner stillness and tranquillity that you can carry back with you into your daily life.
This retreat is suitable for all levels of experience and will take place in the stunning scenery of the Grampian National Park which is one and a half hours from Aberdeen & Inverness and 3 hours from Glasgow & Edinburgh.
The perfect retreat getaway
Set in an idyllic retreat venue in the Scottish highlands. Between meditations you can enjoy walking on the nearby Speyside Way, a spectacular route through the rugged countryside with stunning views, or you can relax in the garden or comfy lounge.
The power of silence
Normally we are constantly distracted by external objects, busy activities and scattered thoughts. Observing silence is a powerful method to disengage us from busyness and to deepen our contemplation and concentration. The retreat will include silent periods and participants are asked to switch off their phones for the duration of the retreat.
The retreat
Guided by Gen Kelsang Tubchen, a modern Buddhist nun with over 20 years of experience of engaging in and guiding retreats, with gentle but powerful meditations drawn from the Mahamudra tradition of meditation. Helping us to directly experience the deeper peaceful nature of our mind. In this way we can improve our inner peace and increase our energy in the most tranquil of environments, surrounded by nature.
This 4 day meditation retreat takes place the summer holidays and is open to all levels of practitioner, including beginners.
