Tuesday Evening Meditation Class

7 – 8:15pm

Tuesday 7th July – there will be no evening class in Aberdeen.  The Tuesday evening Aberdeen class will be back to normal next week.  Apologies for any inconvenience.

Everyone is welcome at our weekly meditation classes.

  • You can attend any individual class or the whole series. Each class is stand alone.
  • There are 2 guided meditations and a practical teaching in each class.
  • Optional discussion at the end of class in the cafe
  • Join in person or available online via livestream for members
  • Most people sit on chairs and no exercise is involved

Cost:

  • £10 (free for members)
  • Concessions available for students & those on a low income £6 per class

All income goes to running the centre which is a registered charity

Kelsang Yonchen is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Aberdeen. She has been practising Kadampa Buddhism for over 14 years and was ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2023. Before moving to Aberdeen, she served as the Resident Teacher at Ganden Ling Kadampa Meditation Centre in Cornwall. Yonchen is known for her warm heart, practical wisdom, and clear, accessible teaching style that makes Buddha’s teachings easy to understand and apply in daily life.
