Enlightened Wisdom for Modern Living

There has been so much material development in our modern world but we are not witnessing a corresponding increase in human happiness.

We are so used to being stimulated from the outside that we find it difficult to be quiet and to enjoy the stillness of our own mind.

In this course we will explore how the ancient wisdom of Buddhism has much to offer to our busy modern lives.  Giving us the insight needed to prioritise a more spiritual life and the cultivation of pure and peaceful minds.  Each week we will learn meditations and explore teachings that lead to real, lasting happiness and a deep sense of fulfillment and meaning that is hard to find in our fast paced and individualistic world.

Jun 12 – Prioritising a meaningful life

Jun 19 – Ancient Wisdom for modern life

Jun 26 – Deepening our wisdom

  • There are 2 guided meditations and a practical teaching in each class.
  • Optional discussion at the end of the class
  • In person only (not available online)

  • You can pay in-person or book online and show your confirmation email.
  • Book a four week series for £27 or attend any individual class
  • All income goes to running the centre which is a registered charity.
  • Cancellations up to 24 hours prior to the course will receive a full refund minus a 10% admin fee.

Santu Chatterjee and Jon Hall take the classes in Elgin. They bring to the teachings a wealth of life experience and both teach in a very clear and accessible way. They have both been studying and practicing meditation for many years.
