Perfecting your Wisdom – 2 June

Sunday 2 June 10:00am – 1:15pm

This is our third Sunday workshop focusing on the Three Principal aspects of the Buddhist Spiritual Path taught by the Great Buddhist Master Je Tsongkhapa.

Each course will focus on one simple spiritual truth or insight that will completely transform your life!

This course will guide us to deepen our wisdom through understanding Buddha’s ultimate teachings on emptiness, or the true nature of reality. This liberating wisdom will help us free our mind from the very root of all suffering and all delusions, especially the delusion of self-grasping that constantly interferes with our mental peace.

During this half day course we can learn to solve our problems with the peace of wisdom. By stepping through the doorway of wisdom we can make progress in our spiritual goals to free ourself and others from suffering and truly benefit others.

Taught by our resident teacher, Buddhist Nun Gen Kelsang Tubchen, this course is suitable for anyone wanting to discover more about the Buddhist path to Enlightenment and how to integrate it into busy modern life.

The sessions will include guided meditations, teachings and the opportunity to discuss the topics with others during the breaks in the cafe.

“But, even though you may be acquainted with renunciation and bodhichitta,
If you do not possess the wisdom realising the way things are,
You will not be able to cut the root of samsara;
Therefore strive in the means for realising dependent relationship.”
