The Magic of Meditation Kids 3 week Course – starts 29 April

Meditation really is magic! Children of all ages and temperaments can learn how meditation can give them real super powers to be calm, happy and mentally strong. They will enjoy creating and exploring a magical inner world that nourishes them and helps them deal with difficult feelings, situations and relationships.  Discovering how to enjoy inner peace through meditation is a skill that will bring life-long benefit to your child and family.

About Kids Club

Kids Club aims to develop and nurture positive qualities in children through child centred games, crafts and short meditations. Meditation in particular is a simple, effective method that over time helps children to be more relaxed, happy and confident. These classes are offered by our resident teacher Gen Tubchen, who has many years of experience working with children.

Each class is organised around a Buddhist theme such as love, kindness and patience and will include a range of fun activities including story-telling, drama and crafts. Children will also be gently guided in short simple meditations and given techniques to gain confidence, focus and consideration for others.

All families are welcome, no previous experience of Buddhism or meditation is necessary. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The adults are welcome to join in with the meditation.  The classes are designed for P1 – P7 aged children.

Please note:
Parents / carers are required to attend the course with their children and remain responsible for their children at all times.

"It felt like a safe place with a very wise & compassionate teacher and a group of diverse people all of good intention sharing the experience. Good to experience a deepening of meditation practice, to have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss and all in a beautiful and very quiet environment where it was possible to walk and connect with nature."
