Membership
If you live in the North of Scotland you can become a supporting member of Kadampa Meditation Centre Aberdeen and enjoy all our classes, courses and retreats.
Deepen your meditation practice, find lasting solutions to the challenges of daily life and support the centre in its activities to benefit you and others!
KMC Aberdeen is a registered non profit charity run entirely by volunteers with our activities dedicated to creating a more peaceful and happy world.
We have 4 different Categories of Membership:
- £37 per month (£111 per quarter)
- Free access, both in-person and online, to our General Programme classes, courses, prayers and retreats held at KMC Aberdeen
- Free access to branch classes
- Enrolment in Foundation Study Programme or Teaching Training Programme at no extra cost
- 30% discount for events with visiting teachers and empowerments
Please note:
- Off-site retreats in Portsoy are not included in the membership due to the additional costs.
- The centre does not offer classes during the international Kadampa festivals 3 x a year and certain holidays, to enable our volunteers to attend these events or take time off – the cost of your membership is averaged across the year to account for this.
- Food during courses is not included in the membership and can be paid for separately.
How do I become a member?
If you are new to the centre and wish to try out our classes for a month you can book a trial month below.
The best solution is to select to pay by standing order each month on an ongoing basis. You can select this option during checkout and then set this up with your bank. As soon as we receive your first payment your membership will start.
Or you can pay £111 for three months at a time by card payment.

If you wish to make a financial gift in support of our actives, please click the donate button below to donate through paypal or to donate via bank transfer or set up a regular standing order contact our Administration Director on 07483 914 371 or email admin@meditateinaberdeen.org.
If you are a UK taxpayer, the value of your gift can be increased by 25% under the Gift Aid scheme at no extra cost to you. This means if you donate £100 we will receive £25 extra from HMRC so your total donation will be £125! Please fill out the gift aid form below if this applies to you.
